Calendar rules
Calendar rules sit on top of the three modifier tiers. They are not per-game conditions—they are the day itself, and they apply to all twenty-four games on the slate.
| Day | Rule | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday | 🔁 Second Chance Sundays | A game sitting at a one-goal margin at the horn is levelled and plays on. Roughly 15% of games are levelled, which doubles the overtime rate from 15% to 30%. |
| Monday | 🔇 Muted Mondays | Arena modifiers are suppressed. No home-ice boost. Every building is just a building. |
| Tuesday | 🌌 Aurora Tuesdays | Player modifiers amplified ×1.25, plus a bonus on shots on goal. |
| Wednesday | 🌀 Weird Wednesdays | The home side plays under the visitor’s arena condition. Two match modifiers instead of one. |
| Thursday | 🥅 Thankless Thursdays | Backup goalies start. No pulls, no swaps. |
| Friday | 🥊 Fist-Fight Fridays | Fights rise from about 1.70 a game to 4.15. Penalty minutes go from roughly 28 to 52. |
| Saturday | ⑥ Sixth Saturdays | Returns from the Sixth shift to an even 30/30/30 gain, lose, or swap—and a repeat visit guarantees a change. |
The one that changes results
Section titled “The one that changes results”Second Chance Sundays is the only rule that touches a result directly. Every other rule changes the conditions a game is played under; Sunday reaches into a finished game, unfinishes it, and makes them keep going.
Le Council has been asked how a game that has ended can be levelled. Le Council has recorded the question.
The Last Mile
Section titled “The Last Mile”One more day is different, and it comes once a season rather than once a week. The last matchday of the regular season is played under a match modifier on every game: standings points count twice, payouts do not. It is not a calendar rule, and it sits on top of whatever the weekday already does.
Reading the odds against the day
Section titled “Reading the odds against the day”O.D.D.S. applies a measured correction for the day of the week. So does the market. A Thursday line that looks wrong for a team may simply be its backup goalie.
