Arena modifiers
Every team’s home arena has a modifier. Unlike match modifiers, arena modifiers are always active at that venue, known in advance, and part of team identity. Unlike player modifiers, they don’t travel—an arena modifier only applies when the team is playing at home.
There are forty-eight, one to each arena. The original twenty debuted with the league; the four marked S2 arrived with the Season 2 expansion, and the twenty-four marked S3 arrived with the conference split.
Graine Wetsky Arena, the neutral site for the Season 3 Final, is not one of the forty-eight. It holds no team and carries no designation of its own.

Notable cases
Section titled “Notable cases”- Riviera (Rimini) is the only dual arena modifier. One of two sub-effects—Dolce Vita or Sunburn—is revealed at game start. Le Council has failed to predict which will appear.
- Hybrid (Cyprus) is the only modifier that is another modifier. The Chimeras are assigned a random arena condition before each game, never the same one twice in a row. Le Council has stopped trying to track this.
- Isolation (Vladivostok) suppresses all external modifiers on visiting players—including ones gained from The Sixth. You arrive at The Terminal stripped bare.
- Depth (Oman) goes further and suspends every player modifier on both sides for a full period. The Gulf strips everything. You are alone in the water.
- Ancient (Atlantis) applies a modifier whose effect is Glacified. Le Council has filed forty-seven inquiries. None have been answered. The modifier applies regardless.
- House Rules (Monaco) is the only arena modifier that touches the betting book rather than the ice.
- Penguins (McMurdo) is the only modifier whose enforcement mechanism is, officially, a group of spectators. The penguins are watching. They are disappointed in you.
- Wishes (Dakar) may reverse any outcome—a miss becomes a goal, a save becomes a miss. Be careful what you wish for.
